Several enhancements have been made to the information available in the ETOPS
Release module.
Note: The ETOPS release form is currently unavailable in Aviator. However, ETOPS release data
entered in FliteBrief is available in FliteBrief's PDF
Briefing Pack.
Updated Scheduled Time of Arrival field
FliteBrief now shows the scheduled time of arrival (STA) in the
Summary section of ETOPS Release form.
The value of the
STA
box
ispopulated from the information contained in the flight plan.

box is also available in the PDF

Unit of measure for operational minimums
Under the ETOPS ERA Information section, you can now select
SM(statute miles) or Mtr(meters) as the unit
of measure when you update the operational minimum. The updated unit of measure appears in
the

Note: The enhanced minimums are correctly calculated based on the selected units for
the operational minimums.
Auto population of Earliest and Latest fields
The values in the Earliest and Latest fields
under the ETOPS ERA Information section are now populated from the
information contained in the flight plan.
The updated values of the fields are available in the PDF

Note: If necessary, you can manually enter the values for the
Earliest and Latest fields.
Enhanced calculation for cross wind
The calculation for a cross wind is enhanced to show more accurate values.FliteBrief automatically calculates the value in the xwind
box, based on the runway that you select on the Edit screen. If this
value isn't automatically calculated, enter a value.

Note: You can configure FliteBrief to exclude the two-digit magnetic
heading and only display the two-digit runway designator in the Rwy
box.
Show or hide the Airfields section
You can now use the Settings > Default Settings screen to show or hide the Airfields section in the
ETOPS Release module.
