Enhancements to interfaces and integration

Several enhancements have been made to the way certain features of FliteBrief integrate with other applications.

Notifications when receiving fuel order requests from Aviator

FliteBrief can now receive fuel order requests from Aviator. You can view the processed requests in the following modules:
  • The Flight Summary screen of Dispatch module.
  • The Record Vault module.

Dispatchers receive a notification that a fuel order request has been received. They can review this notification to confirm whether the request has been acknowledged.

Support for extra fields

When Aviator sends data to FliteBrief, a .CSV file is generated, which contains values from the Aviator journey log file and the OFP.xml file. The .CSV file is then sent to customers by using the File Transfer Protocol. The .CSV file is now enhanced to include the following fields:
  • MOR
  • ASR
  • DISC
  • Other
  • Pre-uplift value
  • Uplift amount
  • Specific gravity

Enhanced OFP.xml file received from PPS flight planning system

The weight units attribute in the OFP.xml file received from the PPS flight planning system now shows the configuration of weight units stored in the FliteBrief fleet database.

If the aircraft weight unit isn't configured, then the fleet weight unit is used instead.

If neither the aircraft weight unit nor the fleet weight unit is configured, then the weight units in the OFP.xml file are unchanged. The dispatcher receives a notification when the OFP.xml file is sent.

Where required, the EFF packages created by FliteBrief for PPS flight planning system contains the OFP.xml file. The OFP.xml file shows the converted values of fuel figures and weight units.
